He was predeceased by: his parents, William Yurgae and Jane Yurgae (Heuer); and his wife Rosemary Johnson. He is survived by: his brother Robert; his sons, Jeffrey Yurgae (Gina) of Des Moines and Christopher Yurgae (Aimee) of Des Moines; his grandchildren, William, Jackson, Alexis and Carter; his stepgrandchildren, Nicole and Seth; and his pet Buddy. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity.
