He is survived by: his mother Janice "Jan" Steiert (Morningstar); his former wife Sheila Hutchens; his children, Kylie Ferch (Dalton), Kolby Steiert and Abby Steiert; his grandchildren, Leighton Ferch, Lincoln Ferch, Landry Ferch and Cohen Frakes; and his brother Kurt Steiert (Christy).
