She is survived by: her children, Steven Nieuwsma (Peggy) of Marion, Julie Waggoner (Brian) of Clive and David Nieuwsma (Mary) of Marion; her grandchildren, Benjamin of Central City, Alison of Marion, Katherine of Marion, Samuel (Sarah) of Des Moines, Joseph of Cedar Rapids, John (Jenna), Joshua of Clive, Ella of Clive, Jacob, Jennifer of Glen Burnie and Stephanie (Juan) of Lakewood, Colorado; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Keegan, Maizik, Logan of Konnor, SJ, Lizzie and Stanley.
Memorials may be given to the Youth Group of the First Presbyterian Church of Marion.
