She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Crouch and Hazel Crouch (Vesey); her husband Harold Edmonds; and her grandparents, Louis and Nora Crouch.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Edmonds (Jacci) of Cedar Rapids, Vicki Ricken (Joe) of Marshalltown, Steve Edmonds (Joan) of Cedar and Timothy Edmonds (Gagandeep Singh) of Cathedral City, California; her grandchildren, Jenny Edmonds, Megan Wullner (Tony), Tessa Vollbrecht, Alexi Edmonds, Erin Wright (Luke), Stephanie Hunt (Tanner), Lindsey Ricken (Brock Woosley), Bryce Edmonds (Jazzy) and Bailey Gustafson (Lindsey); and her great grandchildren, Maceo, Sienna, Charlize, Cedric, Carma, Cainen, Jason, Kaine, Trevor, Tysen, Harper, Blakely, Liam, Oliver and Lily.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Joan's honor may be directed to UnityPoint Hospice or the Coggon American Legion.
