She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanton Stanley Schroder and Florence Carlson Schroder Pickett; her daughter Teri Lynn Raper; her granddaughter Samantha Jo Raper; her brother Duan Schroder; and her siblings-in-law, Dave, Dale Edwards, Dr. Kanu Chatterjee, Dreda McGill and Margaret Edwards.
She is survived by: her husband Dewey Edwards; her children, Don Raper (Kristin), Jackie Winstead (Rob), Shelly Wing (Don), DewAnn Sanchez (Joe), Becky Mayfield (Ken) and Jodi Snodgrass (Bruce); her grandchildren, Brandon Wing (Naomi), Dustin Wing (Khanthaly), Don Wing (Deedra), Dean Rinderknecht (Eric), Wendy VanDyke (Steve), Sara Raper (Brad), Ashley Raper (Greg), Elizabeth Raper, Jeremia Sterkel, Joshua Sterkel (Beverly), Trisha DeWitt (Aaron), Katie Hutchinson (Doug), Ashley Mayfield, Andrew Edwards (Torie), Ali Sanchez, Tate Snodgrass, Tanner Snodgrass (Olivia), Tessa Snodgrass and Taryn Snodgrass; her sister Janaan Schlagel (Phil); and her siblings-in-law, Karalyn Schroder, Margo Edwards, Docela Chatterjee and Don Edwards (Darla). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Coburn Funeral Home - Colfax (24 W Howard St, Colfax, IA 50054). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia's name may be made out to Hospice of Pella.
