He was predeceased by: his father Rick Grant; and his grandparents, Ross, Bette Grant, Cal and Emma Scott.

He is survived by: his mother Sue Grant; his son Brandon; and his sisters, Cheree (Frank) and Shelley (Matt). He is also survived by many aunts/uncles, cousins, nieces/nephews, great nieces & nephews.

Ryan has donated to the Iowa Donor Network.
