He was predeceased by: his parents, Avon William and Anna Jane Franklin (Bailey); his wife Maryle Parks; his siblings, Bob, John, Arthur, Wilma and Joyce; and his great grandchildren, Logan Goettsch and Amelia White.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Mitchell (Craig), Mike Sexton (Kristi), Rhonda Day, Ron Franklin (Amy), Julie White (David), Todd Sexton (Becky), Doug Franklin (Nicole) and Bob Franklin (Anne); and his siblings, Sarah "Sally" Fitzgerald and Larry Franklin. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.
