He was predeceased by: his parents, David Lee Swanson, Sr. and Donna Jean Lind; his sister Diana Meier; and his grandson Tanner Doran. He is survived by: his wife Becky; his daughters, Angie Gearhart (Wade) and April Swanson (Charles); and his grandchildren, Jayden, Natalie, Hunter and Fischer.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory - Nevada (1418 Fawcett Pkwy, Nevada, IA 50201, USA). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
