With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judith Ellen Handsaker of Colo, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 5, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Judith Ellen departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Judith Ellen. Though Judith Ellen may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robbins and Barbara Akers; and her siblings, David and Lonnie Miller. She is survived by: her husband Dannie Handsaker of Colo; and her sons, Jim (Odette) of Colo, Jerry (Sarah) of South Dakota and John (Stacey) of Colo. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Judith's name to Story County Animal Shelter.
