She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Matheason and Dorothy Matheason (Burnett); her sister Jeanie; and her father-in-law Max Dobson. She is survived by: her children, Nicole Dobson and Cody Dobson (Heather); her husband Doug Dobson; her children, Zach and Mindee Sly; her grandchildren, Sadie, Kadyn, Jocelynn Dobson, Hunter and Peyton Carlson; and her mother-in-law Janice Dobson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
