With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Franklin Harley Reimers of Columbia, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley O. Reimers and Mildred Reimers (McConnell); and his brother Harry Reimers. He is survived by: his wife Fern Faye Hautekeete of Malcom, Iowa.; his son Scott Reimers (Paula) of Columbia City; his grandchildren, Samantha Hamlin (Matthew) of Columbia City and Cohen Reimers of Fort Wayne; and his brother John Reimers (Arlene) of Malcom, IA..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (3622 US-63, Malcom, IA 50157).
