It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darryl James King of Columbus Junction, Iowa, who passed away on June 26, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Joseph and Bertha Agnes King (Moellers); his wife Gina Ricks; his brothers, Harry King and Donnie King; and his brother-in-law Bernie Dickman.
He is survived by: his stepson Tristan Ricks (Selena) of Belton, Missouri; his close friend Jason Nelson; his stepgrandchildren, Jack and Tessiana; and his siblings, Diane Roalfs (Craig) of Osage, David King of Gladbrook, Deb Dickman of Great Falls, Montana, Ron King (Deanna) of Loves Park, Paula Taylor (Larry) of Hattiesburg, Dona Rogers (Tracy) of Anchorage, Michael King (Lisa) of Eddyville and Lori King of Osage.
Memorials may be directed to the Muscatine Humane Society in memory of Darryl.
