We announce the death of Donald Eugene Wilson of Columbus Junction, Iowa, who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 90. Donald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Masson and Mable Catherine Wilson (Morrison); and his wife Judy. He is survived by: his children, Sharee Hoegerl (Jack) of Rock Island, Illinois, Doug Wilson (Vickie) of Columbus Junction, Iowa and Craig Wilson (Brenda) of Columbus Junction, Iowa; his grandchildren, Whitney, Molly, Abbey, Ruger, Brooke and Remington; and his close friend Peggy Buffington. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home (116 E Main St, Washington, IA 52353). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Columbus City Cemetery.
