She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Lee; her husband Verl Lekwa; her grandchildren, J. D., Jobie and Justus Lekwa; her great grandchildren, Wren Earlene Lekwa and Colstyn Jacob Lekwa; her brothers, Harold Johnson (Paulette) of Muscatine and Marty Johnson (Janie) of Wapello; and her nieces and nephews, Jodie, Brenda, Bart and Monty.

Memorials may be directed to the Columbus Junction United Methodist Church or the Kingston United Methodist Church in memory of Earlene.
