She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Johnson and Arlene Johnson (Allen); her brother Don Alan Johnson; her nephew Joey Johnson; and her grandparents, Reuben, Bessie Allen, Clyde and Emma Johnson.
She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Lee; her husband Verl Lekwa; her grandchildren, J. D., Jobie and Justus Lekwa; her great grandchildren, Wren Earlene Lekwa and Colstyn Jacob Lekwa; her brothers, Harold Johnson (Paulette) of Muscatine and Marty Johnson (Janie) of Wapello; and her siblings' children, Jodie, Brenda, Bart and Monty.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services (603 2nd St, Columbus Junction, IA 52738). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Columbus Junction United Methodist Church (517 2nd St, Columbus Junction, IA 52738).
Memorials may be directed to the Columbus Junction United Methodist Church or the Kingston United Methodist Church in memory of Earlene.
