It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Dean Lewis of Columbus Junction, Iowa, born in Unionville, Missouri, who passed away on April 26, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Nova Lewis and Ival Lewis (Medlin); his son Timothy Lewis; and his siblings, Ronald Lewis, Glen Lewis, Elmira Kain and Elaine Kain.

He is survived by : his wife Nancy Forbes of Columbus Junction; his sons, Roger Lewis of Cincinnati and Bret Kurtz of Columbus Junction; his granddaughter Paige Kurtz (Derrek Movall); his great grandchild Hazel Grace; and his brother Harold Lewis of Unionville, Missouri. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established at the funeral home in memory of Gary.
