We bid farewell to Lester Granville Pace II (Columbus Junction, Iowa), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 24, 2025 at the age of 83. Lester touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Granville and Eleanor M. Pace Sr. (South); his former wife Sarah Maxine Horn; his wife Dorothy D. Dilley; and his son Harold "Gene" Pace.
He is survived by: his children, Velvet Hall (Pat) of Columbus Junction, Dawn Grace (Bill) of Reynolds, William "Robert" Pace (Jodi) of Ephrata, Lester Pace III (Michelle) of Moline, June Engle of California and Mary Ernst (Brian) of Brookings; and his siblings, Edward Pace (Patrice) of Davenport, Florida and Carolyn Dewey of Texas. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
