We bid farewell to Lester Granville Pace II (Columbus Junction, Iowa), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 24, 2025 at the age of 83. Lester touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Granville and Eleanor M. Pace Sr. (South); his former wife Sarah Maxine Horn; his wife Dorothy D. Dilley; and his son Harold "Gene" Pace.
He is survived by: his children, Velvet Hall (Pat) of Columbus Junction, Dawn Grace (Bill) of Reynolds, William "Robert" Pace (Jodi) of Ephrata, Lester Pace III (Michelle) of Moline, June Engle of California and Mary Ernst (Brian) of Brookings; and his siblings, Edward Pace (Patrice) of Davenport, Florida and Carolyn Dewey of Texas. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services (603 2nd St, Columbus Junction, IA 52738). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Missionary Foundation of Muscatine in memory of Lester.
