He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Dick" Hills and Lois Hills (Chamberlin); his grandparents, Addison, Margaret Hills, Verne and Gladys Chamberlin; and his brother William Hills.
He is survived by: his siblings, Deborah Tompkins (Bruce) of Rapid City, Sherry Buffington of Columbus Junction, George Hills (Darla) of Muscatine, Douglas Hills (Ingrid) of Schwabhausen, Robert Hills of Muscatine and Brian Steahr. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
