She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter P. Schmidt and Florence A. Schmidt (Riepe); her husband Clifford D. Crafton; and her son-in-law John Forbes. She is survived by: her daughters, Cinthia Forbes of Conesville and Teresa MacEachern (Jay) of Wapello; her grandson David Forbes (Carrie) of Columbus Junction; her daughters, Morgan Wagler (Matt) of Wayland and Emily Brade (Ben) of Muscatine; her great grandchildren, Bella, Brayden Forbes, Natalie, Nora, Reed Wagler and Lydia Staats; her stepgreat-grandsons, Zach Guillaume (Allisa Sims) and Colton Guillaume; her sisters, Lucille Milbert of Dawsonville, GA, Karen Smith of Dawsonville, GA and Linda Ford of Fairfield; and also, Phoebe, Maverick and Remington.
A memorial has been established at the funeral home in Joan's name.
