It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lydia V Casarez of Conesville, Iowa, born in Mercedes, Texas, who passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Velasquez and Rebecca Ponce; her husband Constancio Casarez; her granddaughter Jennifer Lynn Landeros; and her brother Bobby Ponce.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Landeros (Alberto) of Texas, Constancio Casarez (Brianna) of Lone Tree, Linda Casarez-Garcia (Miguel) of Conesville and Tyson Haskins of South Carolina; and her siblings, Jaime Maldonado (Estella) of Texas, David Ponce (Estella) of Texas, Belinda Ponce of Conesville and Saul Ponce, Jr. (Sabina) of Conesville. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
