Bruce Altenhein Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bruce Altenhein of Conrad, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bruce Altenhein to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Altenhein and Gertrude Altenhein (Yohn); his wife Carol Parker; his children, Shannon (John Heffernan) of Cleveland, Heather of Ankeny and Courtney (Gregg Hinders) of Huxley, Iowa.; and his grandchildren, Logan Brandt (Molly), Colin Heffernan (Elaine), Carter Brandt and Brenna Heffernan. He was also cherished by his wife, daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 130 Oakwood Dr, Conrad, IA 50621.
