She was predeceased by: her parents, John Roark and Myrtle Roark (McMullen); her husband Dale Modlin; her daughter Connie Myers; and her siblings, Kathryn Minikus, Margaret Butler, Mary Teresa Hagberg, John Roark, Jr. and Kenneth O'Roark.
She is survived by: her son Dennis Modlin (Barb) of Gladbrook; her grandchildren, Megan Johnson (Josh) of Muscatine and Matthew Modlin of Cedar Falls; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Isabella and Hanna Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
