He was predeceased by: his mother Lois Helen Shirbroun (Bauer); and his brother-in-law George Bitzes. He is survived by: his father Everett "Dwain" Shirbroun; his children, Nicole Esslinger (Denny), Holly Namanny (Josh) and Nathan Shirbroun (Rachael); his siblings, Connie Shirbroun-Bitzes and Brad Shirbroun (Annie); and his grandchildren, Peyton, Mason, Lilyan, Emmett, Jasper, Bailey, Kaity, Cooper, Kyra, Greyson and Devon. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burr Oak Visitors Center (1436 IA-141, Coon Rapids, IA 50058).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for a later designation.
