He was predeceased by : his father Ronald "Moose" Patrick. He is survived by : his mother MaryAnn Patrick (Olesen) of Vail; his wife Teresa Knapp of Coon Rapids; his daughters, Heather Pepples (Andy) of Gowrie and Ashley Patrick (Cody Burkholder) of Dayton; his stepchildren, Jon Meyers (Virginia) of Coon Rapids, Kylie Oltmann (Josh) of Guthrie Center and Cory Knapp (Abby) of Grimes; his mother-in-law Marilyn Bender of Indianola; his siblings, Debbie Smith (Mike) of Coon Rapids, Penny Patrick of Coon Rapids, Mark Patrick (Johnnie) of Missouri and Tim Patrick (Rocky) of Coon Rapids; and his brother-in-law Andy Wood of Indianola. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

“I couldn’t believe the news. It saddens me so much. I knew Dino through my sister, and he possessed a kindness that was truly genuine. He was funny, and smart and so good hearted. We’ve all made questionable decisions at one point or another, he never denied his. And he’d give it to ya straight! A true cowboy to the end. He’ll be missed by many. Heaven just gained another good one!”
