She was predeceased by: her grandson Matthew Steinbach; her son-in-law Patrick Steinbach; her parents, Walter Selders and Ethel Selders (Page); and her in-laws, Wesley and Pauline Cooney.
She is survived by: her husband Kennard Cooney of Corning, Iowa; her children, Lori Steinbach of Des Moines, Larry Cooney of Corning, Iowa and Debra McKay (Roy) of Ames, Iowa; and her grandchildren, August, Sean, Julie, Jennifer, Michaela, Bradley, Jordan and Tauri. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Carbon Church and/or the Carbon Community Building.
