He was predeceased by: his wife Darlene; his parents, Lawrence Ray Haggerty and Geraldine Houck (Sheridan); his half-brother Richard Houck; and his stepbrother Duane Houck.
He is survived by: his children, Darcie Murdock of Bloomington and Rex Haggerty (Melissa) of Corning, Iowa.; his grandchildren, David "Dylan" Murdock (Amanda), Madeline Murdock, Collin Murdock and Connor Haggerty; his great grandchildren, Augustus Murdock and Murphy Murdock; and his brother Donnie Haggerty (Janelle) of Loveland. He is also survived by four nieces, one nephew and other extended family.
