She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar Cobb and Ola Cobb; her son Steven Lyle; her husband Darrell; and her siblings, Dortha Cobb, Maurice Cobb (Marcella) and Lewis Cobb (Wilma).

She is survived by : her son Clell Dean (Lee Ann); and her grandchildren, Brian Moore (Lisa) of Corydon, Sondra Rollins (Terry) of Allerton, Christopher Moore (Sara) of Allerton, Lindsey Westphal (Danny) of Seymour, Blair Moore (Dolly) of Knoxville, Crystal Hansen (Eric) of Whitehouse and Cheri Goben (Jake) of Allerton. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.

“Aunt Irene, I will forever remember all my summer visits to Iowa and staying at your house. Memories included you always cooking up tons of food & making sure all my favorities were included, sleeping in the living room with my mom with all the doors & windows open & the big thunder, lighting & rain storms that scared me & last, always thinking to help with the chores was fun! Those great memories will always be with me & I will forever cherish all the times we had together!”
