He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer McCart and Donna McCart (Carlson); his brothers, Deryl McCart and Edmund McCart; his siblings-in-law, Vivian, Bonnie McCart and Bob Bishop; and his son Greg Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Adams; his children, Doug McCart (Judy), Neal McCart (Dorene), Brenda Foster (Darwin), Randy Adams (Sheila) and Mark Adams (Jamie); his siblings, Don McCart and Janice Bishop; and his sister-in-law Janice McCart. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home-Corydon (303 E Jefferson St, Corydon, IA 50060).
