He was predeceased by: his parents, Selmer Hanson and Alice Hanson (Honer); his wife Evelyn; his sister Rosemary; his brother-in-law Bill Barrand; and his daughter Elizabeth Howey Hanson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Katherine Warwick (Jim) and Margaret Watkins (Jerry); his grandchildren, Nate (Malinda Warwick), Danielle Robert (Joel McDonough), Ryan Watkins and Liam Howey; and his sister Marilyn Suman. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
