She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Lenwood Brightwell, Henry "Lou" and Marjorie Pomerleau. She is survived by: her parents, Lenwood "Roger" Brightwell and Nancy Brightwell (Pomerleau); her siblings, Nicholas Brightwell (Sara) and Emily Traficante (Cosmo); and her grandmother Flo Brightwell. She is also survived by two nephews and three nieces; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501).
