We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2024, at the age of 88, Barbara Lindsley of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Agnes Rose (Sak) and W. James Schneiderwind; her siblings, Mary Ann Morris, Katherine Hibbison and Jim Schneiderwind; and her grandsons, Kale and Dana.

She is survived by : her husband Terry; her siblings, Joe and Jean Schneiderwind; and her children, Joe Simon (Jennifer), Bob Simon (Aldea), Carol Kelly (Bob), Michael Simon (Lorie), Jerry Simon (Ronna), Bernie Simon (Liz), Barbara Simon (Margaret) and Dan Simon (Heidi). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's memory to the CHI Health Foundation.
