He is survived by: his wife Amy Rommel; his son Kyle; his daughter-in-law Catherine Rommel; his daughter Lauren; his son-in-law Adam Beck; his grandchildren, Dean Beck and Ivy Beck; his mother Marilyn "Mim" Rommel (Richardson); his brother Kevin; his sister-in-law Tracy Rommel; his in-laws, Tom and Martha Jirsa; his sibling's children, Keaton Rommel, Sean Powers, Nate Powers, McKenna Rommel and Rylee Rommel; and his sister-in-law Pam Powers (Rich).

In lieu of flowers, the family will direct memorials in Brian's honor.
