She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Putnam and Maxine Putnam (Bates); her siblings, Dean Charles II and Mary Ann; her son Gerald Denny Starr III; and her grandson Brandon Montgomery.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick D Starr, Deana M Starr, Barabara J Starr (Jeffery Rolfe), Michelle L Montgomery and James Starr (Tiffany); and her sister Diane. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, many great grandchildren.
