Connie Sudmann Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Connie Sudmann (Council Bluffs, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Guttau and Arlue Guttau of Treynor, Iowa.; her son Darrin; and her siblings-in-law, Roger Knudsen, Herb Sudmann and Selma Andersen.
She is survived by: her husband Freddie Sudmann; her children, Delynn Sudmann (Brenda), Derrick Sudmann (Nancy), Danette Blackledge (Jim), Dallas Sudmann (Cynthia), Doreen James (Tim) and Daniel Sudmann; her grandchildren, Gabel Sudmann (Rachel), Kyle Blackledge, Taylor Sudmann, Guy Sudmann (Abby), Kaylie Matuszeski (Taylor), Konnor Sudmann, Noel James, Jozie Erhardt (Ethan), Ashley Sudmann, Noah James, Olivia Sudmann and Aubree James; her great grandchildren, Rory Sudmann and Jasper Erhardt; and her siblings, Rhonda Knudsen, Jan Waggoner (Phil) and Joan Kalstrup (Mike). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Living Hope Community Church (15101 Hope Ln, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
