He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Rasmussen and Kristine Rasmussen; his sister Phyllis; his brother-in-law Ray Thompson; his son John; and his stepson George "Allen".
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Rasmussen; his children, Beverly Hickman (Don), Jim Rasmussen, Michael Rasmussen (Kristi) and Elise Feierfeil (Mike); and his mother-in-law Josephine Meade. He is also survived by grandchildren; great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501).
