He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Paulson and Elizabeth Paulson (Geppert). He is survived by: his wife Jan Paulson; his children, Barb Schock (Nathan), Dan Paulson Jr. (Chari) and Andy Paulson; his siblings, Mike Paulson, Jane Bridges, Susie Rissman (Jeff Rissman), Teresa Hoffman, Peg Christensen (Arnie), Andy Paulson and Becky Coleman; and his grandchildren, Kayla Kouri (Noah), Jaedyn Paulson, Justice Paulson, Ellie Schock, Sidney Schock, Ava Schock, Georgia Paulson, Lola Paulson, Remi Paulson and Alyse Petersen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
