We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2025, at the age of 90, Darlene E. Vergamini of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Darlene has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Wilken and Christine Wilken (Kock); her husband Larry Vergamini; and her brother Marvin Wilken. She is survived by: her children, David Vergamini (Kathy), Patrick Vergamini (Lisa) and Sandra. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery E. Pierce.
