He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Brockelsby and Rosa Brockelsby (Kovatch); his former wife Dixie Kay Brockelsby; his brother-in-law Wayne Turk; his nephew Harry Aherns; and his mother-in-law Doris Hudson.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Brockelsby; his stepchildren, Colonel Brian Webster (Sabrina McNeil), Megan Sivard (Mitch) and Kyle Webster (Amanda); his grandchildren, Emalee Webster, Macarthy Sivard, Reagan Webster, Mason Sivard, Makenzie Sivard, Candace Webster, Autumn Webster and Maxwell Sivard; and his siblings, LeRoy Brockelsby (Mary), Patricia Turk, Peggy Smith (Glenn), Glen Hudson (Joyce) and Kimberly Veydt. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Compass Christian Church (2007 S 7th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
