We bid farewell to Dean D. Lee of Council Bluffs, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 28, 2025 at the age of 87. Dean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Lee and Marie Lee (Snider); his siblings, Alan Lee, Ray Snider and Amy Gillespie; his aunt Cleo; and his uncle Marion Snider.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Kaye Brown; his daughter Dena Higginbotham (Greg) of Council Bluffs; his grandson Garret Higginbotham (Rachel); his great grandchild Isabella Higginbotham of Omaha; his sisters, Linda Hook (Bill) of Council Bluffs and Marsha Driever of Bettendorf, IA.; and his sister-in-law Nancy Snider of Kennard, NE.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lincoln Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Council Bluffs Animal Shelter at Midlands Humane Society.
