She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bell and Gertrude Bell (Minchow); her husband Harvey Christensen; her son David Christensen; her brothers, Arlin Bell, Vernon Bell and Charles Bell; her grandson Michael Creason; and her son-in-law Ray Kanger.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy Kanger (Alan Weeces) and Gary; her daughter-in-law Anne Christensen; her sister Kathleen Kerns; her grandchildren, Michaela Lewis (Steve), Ashley Mathews (Ted) and Chelsey Weber (John); and her great grandchildren, Mason Lewis, Spencer Lewis, William Weber, Hallie Weber, Teddy Mathews and Lillian Mathews. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Emanuel Lutheran Church (2444 N Broadway, Council Bluffs, IA 51503).
