We announce the death of Eleanore V. Kasch of Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 92. Eleanore will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon John and Sarah Margaret Kingston (Leavitt); her husband Gordon Kasch; and her brothers, Fred and Rolland Kingston.
She is survived by: her children, Tonya Meyer (David) of Kingsland, GA, Tamra Ruff (Bruce) of Emerson, IA and Jeffrey Kasch (Grace) of Angelis City, Philippines; her granddaughter Anna Kasch of Bremerton, WA; her children, Elizabeth Kasch (Joel Perdue) of Orting, WA, Melanie Kasch of Port Orchard, WA, Charlie Ruff (Megan) of Glenwood, IA and Natalie Meyer (Steven Carver) of Ogden, UT; and her great grandchildren, Maddison, Isaiah, Graham, Brooks and Palmer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Salem United Methodist Church. A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
