She was predeceased by: her parents, John McCarthy and Mary McCarthy; her husband Vince; her children, John Lydon, MaryAnn (Fred Yates) and Linda (Ray Sluyter); her grandson Jim Yates; and her great grandchild Miranda Yates.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Helen Lydon; her sisters, Dorothy Caltrider and Phyllis Bohac; her grandchildren, Mikki Goodman (Mike), Stacey Whittington (Jamie Sommerville), Josh Lydon (Jen), Valerie Parrack (Tommy) and Michael Sluyter (Becky); her great grandchildren, Justin Yates (Tyler), Nicole Goodman (Jake), Jeremy Yates, Jake Yates, Sydney Cumberland (Matt), Alex Whittington, Kiele Lydon, Taylor Parrack, Frankie Parrack, Cooper Sluyter, Kearney Sluyter, Payton Parrack, Jake Sluyter and Hadley Sluyter; and her great great grandchildren, Jaylee Yates, Urijah Yates, River Stark and Brixton Yates. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials will be directed by the family.
