He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Beatty and Carol Beatty (Wilson). He is survived by: his wife Shelly Beatty of Council Bluffs; his sons, Joshua McFarlane of Omaha, Nebraska and Brandon McFarlane of Omaha, Nebraska; his sisters, Christina Funk (Benny) of Council Bluffs and Deanna Beatty of Council Bluffs; his grandchildren, Tanner and Harper McFarlane; and his siblings-in-law, Lowell Eldon Fanning and Kelly Kelley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the The Grass Wagon (110 S 29th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501).
