He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Midkiff and Joyce Midkiff (Morgensen); his siblings, Charles "Chuck" Midkiff and Lisa Stark; and his grandson Kyle Butcher.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Midkiff; and his children, Charity Hathaway (Tony), Wendy Turner (Bill), Sara Mitchell, Andrea Midkiff and Jordan Midkiff. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501).
