With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald E. Wake of Council Bluffs, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Wake Sr. and Bessie Marie Wake (Hankins); his siblings, Chuck Wake, Mel Wake and Pam Wake; and his grandparents, Minnie Hankins and Charles Burl Hankins.
He is survived by: his wife Mary of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and his children, Tammy Kratochvil (Bryan) of Lincoln, Nebraska, Gerald E. "Bo" Wake III (Christine) of Glenwood, Iowa and Charles Wake (Julie) of Frazee, Minnesota. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; other relative and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are being directed to the family for designation.
