She was predeceased by : her parents, Clifford Axtell and Jenny Axtell; and her husband Richard Kruse. She is survived by : her children, Lonnice Seubert (John), Kristy Christensen (Ray), Gale Kruse (Beverly) and David Kruse. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and other family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
