She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter J. Tierney and Ellie C. Tierney (Hollinrake); her husband Keith J. Murphy; her daughter Peggy Mass; her son-in-law Kim "Mick" Mickey; and her sisters, Eileen Helms (Joe), Ann Blackburn, Mary Catharine and Catharine.
She is survived by: her children, Molly Kuehl of Council Bluffs, Jim Murphy (Cindy) of Council Bluffs and Nancy Mickey of Council Bluffs; and her niece JoAnn Blackburn (John) of Council Bluffs. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (1 Bluff St, Council Bluffs, IA 51503).
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Albert Schools, Midlands Living Center, or Hillcrest Hospice.
