With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen L. Regan (Council Bluffs, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 3, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Johnson and Nellie Johnson (Sillik); her husband John Sr.; her children, Robert T. Regan, Richard D. Regan and Cathy L. Regan; her grandson Richard D. Regan Jr.; and her brother Thomas Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Claudia Jean Shears of Omaha and John M. Regan Jr. (Anna) of Raymore, MO.; her grandchildren, Andrea Mello, Sandra Camblin (Irl), Jackie Rios, Rebecca Owen, John M. Regan, III (Haley), Rachel Kauffman (Ben), Jessica Regan, Amanda Owen, Jennifer Regan, Milissa Ledington and Joshua Wajda (Rae); her brother Wayne Johnson of Mapleton, IA.; and her sister-in-law Maria Johnson of Omaha. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; 6 great great-grandchildren, many many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
