He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Reed of Michigan's Upper Peninsula and Vesta Reed (Emmons); his wife Shirley Ann; and his siblings, Clarence, Velma, Jimmy, Rex, Charles, Harold, Eleanor Walsh and Maxine Carlson.
He is survived by: his sister Irene Kalnbach; and his children, Randy Reed (Debbie), Dan Reed (Patti), Pamella McKenzie (Dave), Sherri Hackett (Fred) and Lori Elrick (Doug).
