He is survived by: his mother Deann K. Chmelka (Gustafson) of Wahoo, Nebraska; his wife Brenda Chmelka of Council Bluffs; his sons, Caleb Chmelka (Karly) of Neola and Ethan Chmelka of Omaha, Nebraska; his in-laws, Ben and Loretta Sloss of Stuart, Iowa; his brother-in-law Brad Vonnahme of Stuart, Iowa; his cousins, Laura Keller of Wahoo, Nebraska and Launa Larsen of Wahoo, Nebraska; and his pet Milo. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and many friends.
