We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Jerry L. Kerns of Council Bluffs, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles C. Kerns and Jenny Kerns (Richie); his wife Rosey Kerns; his son Jerry Shannon Kerns; and his siblings, Orpha Welch, William "Bill", Francis "Mike", Ivan "Ike", Earl, Sr., Floyd, Lloyd, Babe and Jack.

He is survived by : his daughter Debra Kerns (Randy) of Council Bluffs; his grandchildren, Marc Stark (Chrissy) of Donald and Alicia Kerns; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Jared, Jason Stark, Logan, Gabriel, Hunter, Connor Stark and Ryker Kerns. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

The family will direct memorial contributions.
